CHLORTETRACYCLINE
Swiss Chemie Chlortetracycline (CTC) is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial drug in the feed for prophylactic purposes. It is classified as a Tetracycline antibiotic with good bacteriostatic effects against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, mycoplasma, chlamydia, rickettsia, tubercle bacillus and virus.
Chlortetracycline (CTC) can also promote the permeation and absorption of the nourish elements, stimulating hypophysis to produce hormones and adjusting appetites. It results in obvious growth promotion for poultry, livestock, and so on, and also greatly increases FCR.
Uses
Chlortetracycline for animals
- Tetracyclic broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
- Inhibits bacteria such as Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, and Rickettsia.
- Effective in treating diseases like pullorum, typhoid fever, swine and poultry paratyphoid, bacterial enteritis, and cholera.
- When included in feed, it not only provides long-term treatment but also plays a preventive role.
- Improves the survival rate of livestock, enhances egg production, and promotes growth and development.
Usage and Dosage
Mixed feed. For pet 1000kg feed, add 25-75g to pig feed (4 months old or less) and 20-50g to chicken (10 weeks old or less).
